What do piano lessons look like?

Piano lessons can look like whatever you want!

If you are a beginner, we will learn how to read music. How to position your hands, understand a musical phrase, explore different types of music and so much more! Many students come to lessons with some previous experience—in this instance, we will decide how to move forward and create goals together.

My job is to help guide you in your musical adventure through flexible and adaptable pedagogy.

Tuition

Tuition includes:

  • Two semesters of private lessons + flexible summer lessons

  • Collaborative Music-Making Events

  • Recitals

  • Competition opportunity

Tuition does not include:

  • additional lesson travel fee for homes more than 5 miles away from the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site

    • this fee is calculated based on minutes traveled multiplied by my going hourly rate ($1.2/1 minute). this fee will be added to weekly tuition, which you will be billed at the end of the month
